Senior Software Tester

YPrime's Innovation team is searching for a Senior Software Tester. You’ll be based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing several types of software testing (i.e. Acceptance, white/black box, unit, smoke, end-to-end, performance
• Experience using Jira, XRay, or other Test Management tools
• Experience testing Mobile applications
• Experience in the validation of REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment 
• A passion for technology

• An understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Continuous Testing
• Experience with Acceptance TDD & BDD with Cucumber, Gherkin, Specflow, or a related tool
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• Experience testing mobile applications 
• Experience working in the biotech/pharmaceutical or CRO industries
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of SDLC
• Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part II requirements
• Experience reading Business Requirements Documents

Here are some more details about the job:

• You'll perform system and application testing on YPrime's systems
• You'll review software requirements to ensure they are clean, testable, and consistent with regulated protocols
• You'll generate and execute test scripts and trace matrices
• You'll perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications 
• You’ll ensure all validation activities and client deliverables meet FDA guidelines
• You'll review software requirements to ensure they are SMART and consistent with regulated protocols
• You'll create validation plans as per risk-based testing methodology
• You'll create and execute test scripts
• You'll create test summary reports and generate traceability matrices
• You'll document defects and track them to resolution
• You'll comply with SOPs and ensure compliance with SDLC throughout the project delivery process
• You'll be willing to perform other duties as assigned
