(Senior) Solution Architect

Centric Software is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our growing planning team in Germany. This is a remote role, based within Germany. The successful candidate should provide solution and technical skills in a fast-moving environment. You will need to be a leader, quick thinking and driven to provide planning solutions that deliver value to our clients. You will be working directly with our clients, internal and external partners to lead the technical design and configuration requirements to provide best practice planning architecture.

The Centric planning team are leading the market in the delivery of first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries. A dynamic and driven team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success. The teams are all home based in different countries around the World. The role reports into the Client Services Director.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize design solutions in line with clients’ requirements leveraging the Centric Planning platform
• Work closely with Centric solution delivery teams and customers clients
• Collect, understand, challenge and communicate the business requirements for the project, translating these into functional specifications
• Define the configuration and data requirements to meet the required business processes.
• Assist in the preparation system test and validation plans

Skills

• Scientific or technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge on database queries (MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of Planning applications at a strategic and operational level
• Track record in consultancy within the IT / Merchandising / Supply Chain planning
• Experience in Planning Management systems and tools implementation
• Previous business and implementation experience

• Advanced knowledge on database queries (MS Sql Server)
• Knowledge of data science
• Power BI knowledge (Dataset modelling and Dashboard design)
