Senior Solution Architect

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join EPAM and support our client from the financial services area in their office in Zurich in a hybrid working environment.
Solution Architects at EPAM are proactive in initiating engaging stakeholder discussions, pinpointing challenges and intelligently crafting solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions and will be responsible for leading the architectural design and deployment of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing architectural risks and ensuring successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document architectural designs and solutions
• Lead architecture-related tasks, including design and implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture and design processes
• Develop a support model to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of the architecture
• Oversee the integration of various technologies, including React for front-end development, Java for back-end services and LLM integration
• Utilize Flowable BPM as a work item management solution building the existing application

Requirements

• Proven experience acting as a hands-on Solution Architect with a strong foundation in Software Engineering
• Strong knowledge of architecture principles and best practices
• Experience with React, Java and BPM platforms
• Hands-on applications development background including a good understanding of Enterprise systems, Digital Technology, Cloud, Mobility, Data Analytics, User Interfaces, Microservices, Serverless and Decentralized Systems
• Previous experience in a client-facing role
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficient communication skills in English are a must, while knowledge of the German language is a significant advantage

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM integration
• Familiarity with support model development
