Senior Solution Engineer
Job Description
JOB DUTIES: Provide technical analysis and engineering review of SailPoint solutions to assist in the sales process and work closely with the direct and channel sales teams to ensure the growth of SailPoint's software solutions; Present SailPoint business functions, value, and competitive differences; Provide product demonstrations to prospective customers; Assist in providing technical and engineering analysis and input to develop RFP responses in coordination with SailPoint's RFP response team; Participate in onsite and remote Proof of Concept evaluations; Provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements; Lead onsite and remote Proof of Concept evaluations through hands-on technical implementation of SailPoint solutions against third party solutions such as HRMS platforms, LDAP directories, SaaS business applications, and on-premises applications; Configure SailPoint products with third-party applications and deliver technical solution demonstrations to prospective customers; Perform deep technical discovery and understand customers' business and technical requirements and align SailPoint solutions to those requirements; Provide consultative guidance on Identity Governance technical solution design.
Requires 30% domestic travel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informational Technology or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company. 5 years of experience to include: Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions; and, technical software infrastructure including web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories. 3 of the 5 years of experience to include: Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, and Azure/AWS/GCP.
