Guild is hiring a Senior Solution Marketing Manager to lead development of our positioning, messaging, and solutions for the Retail Sector. Working closely with a broad range of teams (Sales, Demand Gen, Content Marketing, Solution Consulting, and post-sales Partner Services) this role will define how we take our solutions to market in the vertical and enable our GTM teams to sell effectively. This role reports to the Senior Director of GTM Activation and Enablement.

As Senior Solution Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Become an authority on Guild’s solution, the market, and how we message/position to Retail vertical audiences. 
  • Enable cross-functional knowledge building: Lead a cross-functional positioning working group (“pod”) with active participation from marketing, sales, solution consultants, and other SMEs across the company. Facilitate sessions with leadership, advisors, and other cross-functional teams to both inform your work and share back findings.
  • Define positioning, packaging, and GTM approach: build/refresh high-impact and data-driven content for sales & marketing teams tackling this vertical (i.e. customer stories, slide decks, storyboard, competitive messaging, enablement, etc.). 
  • Identify and understand key personas for the sector drawing on quantitative and qualitative data from the business and external sources. Ensure positioning and messaging is aligned across Guild’s stakeholders (members/learners, learning partners, and employers).
  • Collaborate deeply with go-to-market teams (ABM, BDRs, sales, solution consulting, partner services) to ensure content, campaigns and pre/post-sales motions are aligned and effective. Test key messaging and provide storytelling guidance around the top content themes.
  • Gather, prioritize and synthesize insights on “How to win” from multiple sources to identify new solutions and capabilities to serve Guild’s strategic goals in the Retail vertical; serve as the voice of employer, member and market needs in the vertical.
  • Drive market intelligence on the Retail vertical: Be the guide on the market, and how customers & prospects think about their investment in education, skilling, and career mobility in the vertical.
  • Be a strategic thought partner: Staying in lock step with business leaders to inform Retail vertical GTM strategy and meet revenue goals. 

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Product/solution marketing experience in an enterprise high-growth/entrepreneurial environment, and ideally in a B2B2C business
  • Strategic/analytical thinking and problem solving skills with strong orientation towards driving business impact
  • Deep curiosity and a learning mindset; ability to rapidly learn new concepts and skills
  • Strong organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration skills, including leading cross-functional groups to ambitious outcomes
  • Ability to manage programs & projects in a large, sophisticated organization, including prioritizing across multiple potential 
  • Ability to intuit messaging that will resonate with different audiences and create high quality content in a variety of formats (written, presentation, campaigns) that will resonate with them)

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000, as well as company stock options.
