Senior Solutions Architect

Position Summary

Avineon, Inc. is actively seeking a motivated, high-energy individual to join our team in the growth of the U.S .Federal Division. The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing and supporting complex IT solutions in support of clients to achieve their IT and strategic technology objectives. The successful candidate must be proficient in systems and architecture planning and system/software design, development, and deployment. Additionally, the candidate will have demonstratable experience developing and publishing thought leadership papers and speaking at various industry events.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee efforts to develop IT solutions and recommendations to support client goals and objectives. Develop senior level recommendations for decision making regarding IT systems and application development, implementation, and rationalization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on developing strategies and develop programs to support corporate vision, goals, and growth objectives.
• Lead teams using Lean UX, Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• Work with the federal business development team to develop solutions for prospective clients.
• Brainstorm with/or lead technology discussions with clients to help them develop their technology roadmaps.
• Develop and draft white papers on emerging technologies to recommend as solutions for clients.
• Establish and build relationships quickly at all levels within the client environment.

Education - Experience & Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or other technology field. Advanced degree, preferred.
• 8-10 years proven experience supporting federal client IT projects with direct client engagement.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of custom applications and workflow development in a low-code and no-code app ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience in working with, leading and significantly contributing to the development of IT solutions for federal clients, including knowledge of emerging technologies to be able to translate these ideas into applied solutions.
