Job Description

11:11 Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to contribute to our innovative and growing team. The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting the 11:11 Systems sales team in acquiring new business and growing current customer accounts in an assigned region. Support will include design and pricing of customer application solutions, assisting in customer presentations, discovery and definition of customer requirements, approving all contracted sales from an application and engineering standpoint, and interfacing with operations personnel to ensure a smooth hand-off of all sales orders.

This is a full-time remote position located in Southern California, USA and will report to the Director of Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Support a group of sales representatives as assigned by the Director of Solutions Architecture
  • Design customer solutions by using a consultative selling approach to identify client business issues, determine desired outcomes, and architect a solution that utilizes all our products and services
  • Ensure accurate pricing and configuration of complex sales proposals
  • Ensure that your assigned sales team maximizes quota attainment
  • Ensure complete discovery and definition of customer application requirements
  • Architect services to meet customer requirements by providing high-level architectural diagrams, detailed statements of work, and high-level project plans for complex multi-stage deployments
  • Develop and provide ongoing training and mentoring to the sales organization and sales partners
  • Develop sales content for use by the rest of the organization such as presentation templates, demonstration videos, and technical white papers
  • Assist Product Management & Marketing to develop new product and service definitions
  • Research and recommend services and pricing improvements to our current products and services
  • Coordinate additional support as necessary for sales opportunities
  • Promote the professional growth of the team, continually pursuing opportunities for personal career/training development
  • Continually seek industry and market information to provide 11:11 Systems with the information necessary for successful business development
  • Represent 11:11 Systems at public events such as trade shows and webinars

Requirements

  • Must physically reside within Southern California, USA.
  • Bachelor's or University degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology/Sales Engineering roles
  • Experience in the design of IP network solutions
  • Experience in three or more of the following technologies: Storage, Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Security, Server Operating Systems, Load Balancing, VMware, AWS
  • Strong customer interfacing skills, being able to translate business requirements to technical functionality of 11:11 Systems solution set
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially presentation skills, to a large audience or in one-on-one meetings (planned and ad-hoc)
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Proven track record of establishing and solidifying strategic relationships with key customers and partners, while representing suites of complex IT or IT services solutions
  • Strategic solution selling or previous sales engineering experience
  • Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm, and self-confidence that translates well to customers, partners, and colleagues with an investigative mind
  • Up to 50% travel required, some international, as needed
