Senior Solutions Architect

About this role

You’ll be responsible for helping to design and developing technical solutions leveraging cloud and automation technologies.  The ideal candidate must maintain technical proficiency with the latest technologies, trends, standards, & products. Leveraging your experience performing in a client-facing, you will help define and execute on our innovation strategy, as well as server as advisor to our clients and our client delivery teams in areas of tech strategy, planning, and implementation.  As a senior solution architect, you will also work with our Business Development team to support solutioning and writing for proposal opportunities.

It is imperative that the Solutions Architect has experience in the following four areas: Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, Client Delivery. In those experience areas, it is important to have experience and expertise in Github, Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat OpenShift, HashiCorp Terraform, Docker, Microsoft Azure, and scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, PowerShell.

• Responsible for IntelliDyne’s Innovation Lab.
  • Responsible for the overall management of our Innovation Lab, a development environment in Azure that enables IntelliDyne to develop potential proof of concepts, solutions, and demos for our clients.
  • Responsible for helping developers and teams onboard to the environment when needed.
  • Responsible for deployment of resources to the Innovation Lab through automation tools and scripting, such as Terraform, etc.
  • Responsible for developing automation for deploying common resources or environment setups to the Innovation Lab utilizing tools such as Github, Terraform, Ansible, scripting languages, etc.
• Responsible for developing proof of concepts.
  • Working with client teams, you will develop proof of concepts for use cases; proof of concepts may require leveraging a variety of technologies, such as Red Hat OpenShift, Microsoft Azure resources, scripting languages, etc.
  • Responsible for demonstrating proof of concept solutions to a variety of audiences, including technical, non-technical, senior leaders.
  • Responsible for documenting solutions and writing technical white papers.
• Responsible for being the SME in new technology and for advising client delivery teams on how to deploy new technologies.
  • Responsible for becoming a Subject Matter Expert in specific technologies, such as Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible, Resolve Actions, etc.
  • Assist client delivery teams with design and development of technical solutions for implementation and deployment based on client requirements.

• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Working knowledge of DoD or IC Information Assurance processes and standards, including Risk Management Framework, STIGs, or NIST
• Working knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and/or TOGAF
• Must have advanced certifications in one or more technologies:
  • Red Hat Ansible
  • Red Hat OpenShift
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Docker
  • Python
  • Linux
• Experience and knowledge of DevOps
• 4+ years of experience performing demonstrations of software to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 10+ years of experience in a hands-on technical capacity.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with technical and non-technical audiences, specifically briefing senior decision makers.

• Experience with the DoD or intelligence community
• Experience with Infrastructure Modernization , such as - Operations & Maintenance of legacy global infrastructure, cloud migration, service delivery modernization, software modernization
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Clearable
