Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect - POS Software for Retail and Restaurants

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary: The Senior Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our POS offerings. This individual must possess a comprehensive understanding of the POS domain and demonstrate expertise in software architecture, design, development, and automation. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive the evolution of our SaaS products, ensuring excellence in functionality, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Lead the architectural efforts for complex systems integration, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers.
• Champion the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and efficient technical solutions that meet our product vision.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline deployment and operational processes.
• Ensure system architecture and design is robust, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Drive innovation by researching emerging trends and technologies that can enhance our software offerings.
• Mentor and guide development teams, providing expertise on architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Oversee the deployment of applications across various environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Facilitate troubleshooting and issue resolution that may arise during development, deployment, or post-deployment phases.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system architecture diagrams and API design specifications.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure a seamless CI/CD pipeline and efficient release management processes.
• Participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to the established coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to guarantee superior user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on POS solutions for retail or restaurants is preferred.
• Strong experience in systems architecture and software design for SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with automation tools and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• High level of initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
