Senior Solutions Architect

This role sits at the center of a high-impact go-to-market initiative for a next-generation, AI-native cloud application platform. You will act as one of the first technical leaders bringing a new product to market, shaping how early customers experience, adopt, and scale the solution. Working closely with design partners, product, engineering, and sales, you will translate real-world technical needs into actionable roadmap inputs and compelling solution architectures. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-moving, and deeply technical, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will build trust with senior engineering stakeholders while helping define the foundations of future sales and solution engineering motions. This is a unique opportunity to influence product direction while directly enabling early customer success in a rapidly evolving AI-driven development ecosystem.

In this role, you will lead technical engagement across early customers and internal teams, shaping both product direction and go-to-market success. You will own discovery, solution design, and technical validation activities, ensuring early adoption is grounded in strong architectural foundations.

• Lead technical discovery sessions with design partners and prospects, translating needs into scalable solution architectures
• Build reference implementations, demo environments, sample code, and integration prototypes to showcase product capabilities
• Partner with Sales and GTM teams to define positioning, qualification criteria, demo narratives, and technical playbooks
• Act as a technical advisor to engineering leaders, handling complex architecture discussions, security considerations, and integration challenges
• Synthesize customer feedback and technical insights to influence product roadmap and engineering priorities
• Support knowledge transfer by documenting best practices and enabling future solution engineering and sales teams

Requirements

This role requires a strong mix of hands-on technical expertise, customer-facing experience, and the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments. You bring credibility in modern cloud-native and AI-driven development ecosystems, combined with strong communication and solution design skills.

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical pre-sales roles in developer tools or infrastructure environments
• Strong hands-on coding ability (scripting, integration work) with experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerized environments
• Practical understanding of AI-native development workflows, including agentic systems, LLMs, and prompt-based engineering approaches
• Experience working directly with technical stakeholders in design partner or early-adoption contexts
• Ability to design and communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way for engineering and executive audiences
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel customer and internal initiatives
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where processes are not yet defined
