Senior Solutions Consultant -QA (Automation & Manual)

The Senior Solutions Consultant will be part of Sales & Solutions team supporting our Revenue Management solutions. A person should have strong QA (manual & automation) experience, and basic technical triaging skills. The candidate should adapt, to customer requirements to setup the demos, PoCs, and co-ordinate between internal teams across functions & geographies. This role requires a candidate who can become an SME of Model N solutions and assist in RFI/RFP submissions. 

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the pre-sales team to translate demo/customer business use case requirements into implementation in our demo environment.
• Support in setting up best-in-class demonstration content and scripts to our team to present the value of Model N solutions.
• Create/Maintain and Upgrade the demo test case repository to cover all the product features and functionalities.
• For the RFI/RFP proposal requests support in answering the functional questions this requires a strong product knowledge in all the modules.
• Support and help coordinate the setup and configuration of POCs,including integrating 3rd party software, helping with system integration testing, and presentations.
• Work with engineering and professional services on getting new features and content implemented to our demo environment.
• Formulate test scenarios, test cases and perform manual testing.
• Develop automated scripts based on manually executable test cases and execute the automated test scripts on Jenkins server and generate test reports

Job Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or equivalent experience degree preferred. (Computer Science, Information Services or a related field).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience working with technologies in a QA, Functional, Consulting, or pre-sales support environment
• 3+ years in automated testing environment with strong experience with frameworks with Automation Test development is an added advantage.
• Should have basic technical triaging skills - checking the logs on the servers, Linux file system and commands, basic SQL, understanding of Data model, Data relationships.
• Highly skilled in writing and reviewing test cases and ability to create concise use case documentation.
• Knowledge in the following technologies is added advantage: Java, HTML, XML, Enterprise Java Infrastructure (Java, Tomcat, Jboss, etc..), Oracle (SQL/PLSQL), BI Infrastructure (Cognos, Looker Technologies) and Salesforce.com
• Able to work effectively across multiple time zones to collaborate with peers in other geographies.
