This role is a key technical position focused on bridging the gap between customers, sales teams, and engineering by delivering impactful solutions in a fast-growing, remote-first environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations understand and implement observability and monitoring solutions tailored to their needs. Combining deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, you will guide customers through complex evaluations and deployments. The role offers a dynamic mix of pre-sales engagement, solution design, and knowledge sharing across global teams. You will play a crucial part in driving customer success while influencing product evolution through direct feedback. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead technical engagements and support business growth by delivering tailored solutions and expertise.
- Partner closely with sales teams to articulate the technical value, vision, and strategy of solutions to prospective and existing customers
- Own the technical sales cycle, guiding customers through evaluations, demonstrations, and complex decision-making processes
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on enablement sessions
- Translate customer requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering/product teams, sharing insights and feedback
- Support the creation of technical content such as documentation, blog posts, videos, and knowledge base materials
- Contribute to refining messaging and positioning based on market feedback and competitive insights
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a similar role
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Proven experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for tackling technical challenges
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, global team environment
- Solid technical background with a desire to continuously learn and grow
- Experience with observability, monitoring, or open-source technologies is a plus
- Familiarity with sales methodologies is an advantage
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
