The Opportunity:

As our Senior Solutions Engineer, you are the technical pillar of our sales team, supporting us in the distribution of our innovative eCommerce platform, primarily in the Latin America (LATAM) region. You will work closely with partners and potential customers, convincing their technical decision-makers and ensuring that our solution scenarios meet customer needs at 100%. 

Our ideal candidate has a background in Software Engineering and a deep understanding of the e-commerce industry, with fluent spoken and written Spanish language skills. 

Your Mission:

• Own all technical questions in the sales team
• Present the commercetools platform (architecture and functional scope) and participate in follow-up sales meetings to discuss and finalize technical questions with our customer's tech teams and/or CTOs
• Support our customers in the development of the overall architecture, including other involved systems and the migration strategy
• Develop convincing customer-specific answers in the technical part of Requests for Proposal/specifications
• Conceptualize, implement, and present our demo stores and customized sample solutions

What you need to succeed:

• 2+ years of experience in the e-commerce industry with a focus on pre-sales or solution architecture
• Strong experience in solution architecting, project scoping, and product demonstration
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to gain confidence from the audience
• Spanish and English fluency with a high level of proficiency
• Experience building with REST APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture
• Hands-on, high-energy, passionate and creative problem solver with know-how to get things done and ability to lead others to success
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
