We are actively looking to recruit a Measurement Solutions Lead, who is a "team player" with a positive attitude, and a flexible approach to work, whilst being able to work on their own initiative when required, who have an appetite for self-development and career advancement, and the ability to travel at short notice. This challenging role requires the individual to be proactive and flexible in their work pattern in order to meet the demands of the business and those of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide specialist system support and technical guidance for a wide range of measurement, instrumentation, and automation Solutions. Such solutions may involve third party and partner products and systems
  • To develop, interview and maintain contact with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Research into collect data to understand specific opportunities, issues &/or problems
  • Actively develop and execute business development functions in support of the IMS Team and Sales organizations
  • Travel to & attend customer sites, as required, to survey or audit facilities &/or infrastructure to provide reports on condition or options for development Prepare business proposals and presentations. Present findings &recommendations -internal and to clients.
  • Participate in the development of IMS strategy within DASS, work with Sales functions around the Regions, liaise with Proposals, Engineering, Supply Chain, Execution, Delivery and Project Management functions
  • Technical leadership for measurement applications together with transfer of knowledge through mentoring of others Participate in Industry Standards Organizations

Minimum qualifications

  • An Engineering Degree or similar qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in engineering design within the Measurement, safety, control and instrumentation environment within the Oil & Gas and other industries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers at any level of the organisation.
  • Computer literate, with experience of PC-based word-processing, spreadsheet and database programs and operating systems (Windows 10, 7, 2000, XP, 20XX Server, SQL)
  • Extensive knowledge including Installation, Test, Operation and support of Measurement Solutions and Instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of the Petroleum Industry and understanding of (changing) business drivers.
  • The creation and delivery of white papers, position statements, regulation and standards defense to a diverse audience.
