Senior Solutions Manager
This position can be located in Portsmouth, NH, Dallas TX or Remote in these time zones.
Main duties
Design migration strategy to transition the customer from their current system to Amadeus platform
Work with Engineering and Technology teams to define the scope for customer migration, identify constraints, dependencies, and risks
Operate at different levels of abstraction from high level strategic planning to tactical project management of prioritization, creating schedules, milestones and deliverables
Work closely with customer and stream leaders to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential blockers. Report progress and highlights, and escalate issues and anticipated problems up to management chain.
Take end to end responsibility on the Customer Product implementation managing and coordinating planning of activities leading to the cutover jointly with the customer and required third parties.
Proactively identify technical, legal, procedural, logistical, and communication issues and drive creative solutions to fix them and manage risk
Provide pre and post implementation support through functional and technical expertise.
Identify resources needed for migration activities including training and support. Work closely with team leaders to ensure appropriate resource plan and roster for production rollout.
Follow up on and help drive the resolution of production problems arising
Work and collaborate with a team of technical project managers in charge of defining the migration scope and running implementation activities.
Contribute to pre-sales preparation or participate in Customer presentations
Use your technical subject matter expertise & experience with enterprise customers migration to train and enable scalable deployment.
Relevant Work Experience
8-10 years of related Solution / Implementation Management
Agile and/or SaFe experience is a plus
Functional experience on large or complex projects, preferably in the hotels domain
Previous experience in an Implementation, Functional Analysis, Product Analysis, Product Definition,
Experience in cross-functional processes in defect management and Development Cycle
Good understanding/experience of large system integration projects and challenges
Extensive knowledge of Travel technology and industry practices, particularly Hotel-related
Technical Skills
Advanced PC skills, ability to adapt to a wide variety of internal tools & technical environments
Strong analytical skills
Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes
Ability to understand and analyze complex functional/system problems and propose solutions or workarounds
High attention to detail
Fluent documentation and reporting skills - both written and verbal
Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve team goals.
Ability to build stable and useful working relationships.
