Senior Sourcing Analyst

Position overview:

Global Strategic Sourcing Senior Analyst will be on the Global Sourcing Packaging Team. In recent years, our packaging spend in Europe has significantly increased in both volume and complexity. With the introduction of numerous global packaging regulations impacting our operations, this role is vital in ensuring compliance and optimizing our packaging strategy. The Senior Sourcing Analyst will focus on getting our complex packaging spend compliant with packaging regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 0%-40% Sourcing
• 30%- 70% Regulatory Expertise
• 10%-20% Transactional
• 0-100% Systems and Processes
• Responsible for best total value and supply assurance.
• Developing a deep understanding of packaging regulations and their implications for H.B. Fuller,
• Providing training and resources to cross-functional teams, ensuring they are well-informed about packaging regulations,
• Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, test, and approve compliant packaging solutions
• Manage specific packaging categories in EIMEA, driving strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Manage minimum and maximum order quantities and total volumes.
• Comply with Sourcing’s best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Management responsibilities of 2 interns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sourcing functions.
• 1 year experience in packaging industries
•  Experience managing packaging materials.
• Knowledge of European packaging regulations.
• Self-motivated, can function with little/no daily direction setting from the manager.
• Demonstrated strong desire and innate capability to learn.
• Passion for sustainability.
• Strong analytic skills with a focus on compliance and regulatory standards.

• Problem solving capabilities
• Strong communication
• Interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, other languages desired (e.g., Spanish).

Preferred Requirements:
Master’s Degree and 3+ years of related experience.
