We are further strengthening our Consulting Services & Cloud Products Strategic Sourcing team and are now looking for a senior sourcing manager to join our team. To excel in this role, you need have prior experience on strategic sourcing and supplier management from major sourcing initiatives and have structured, highly collaborative & impact driven working approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic sourcing initiatives related to software licenses and SaaS -based subscription solutions
  • Planning and executing strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Negotiating and managing supplier contracts
  • Actively seeking new opportunities for sourcing initiative pipeline
• Category Management
  • Lead designated sourcing category areas and develop sourcing strategies
• Supplier management for designated suppliers
  • Act as supplier manager towards designated suppliers
  • Drive and develop strategic supplier relationship in collaboration with stakeholders
• Collaboration with SW asset management function to secure compliance and drive optimized use of the SW solutions
• Sourcing business partner for designated business stakeholders
• Constantly seeking for opportunities to simplify and work in more efficient way
• Contributing to overall team performance as active member of the sourcing team

Your new team and leader

We operate as one, integrated Sourcing function. You will be member of Consulting Services & Cloud Products Strategic Sourcing team and report to Heikki Liimatta.

Personality & working style

You are an engaging and business minded sourcing professional with 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience and have a proven track record of negotiating major sourcing initiatives and supplier management to ensure execution of the negotiated deal:

• Doer who has bias for action & delivering impact – highly structured way-of-working, impact-oriented approach and independent (self-starter) working style
• Influencer with great executive presence & solid business understanding – you have ability to communicate effectively both with executives and specialists and genuine desire & ability to deliver business impact to the company
• Highly analytical & fact-based – you can both see the big picture, identify long term trends and to drill down to drivers when needed. You use data to drive real business benefits and bring speed to decision making and execution
• Result oriented project manager - Being able to identify new opportunities to create impact, prioritize the work and secure successful implementation of these initiatives
• Highly skilled in negotiation, indirect influencing and selling ideas in complex matrix organizations.
• Team player who can contribute in teamwork, also in areas outside of own direct responsibilities

Experience & education

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a proven track record of negotiating major sourcing initiatives and managing global suppliers
• Experience in working with global software suppliers
• Experience in software license and cloud based -solutions business models
• Experience of various SW licensing and cloud/SaaS-based solutions
• Understanding of SW asset management
• Proven negotiation skills
• Experience in building and managing strategic supplier relationship to maximize value
• Experience of managing spend and using TCO (total cost of ownership) to minimize waste
• Minimum 10 years of experience from working in international organization with complex business models and matrix organization
• M.Sc. from relevant field
• Fully proficient written and verbal English communication skills
