What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
As a member of the SOURCE Generics team, the Sr. Specialist, Account and Program Management, is tasked with servicing a diverse set of customers across all Classes of Trade participating in the SOURCE program. This position participates in cultivating and maintaining ongoing customer relationships and improving customer satisfaction with our customers by providing the best possible service, resolving customer problems, and improvements to internal and external processes.
Location: Remote (open to candidates nationwide)

Accountabilities
- Answers pricing, supply and formulary questions for SOURCE program items
- Researches and resolves sublogic, contract and program attachment questions and issues
- Executes price comparisons submitted by Sales and Customers
- Assists SOURCE Customer Development Team members with reporting and research requests
- Performs audit reviews and tasks as needed
Skillsets & Qualifications
- Analytical (organizing data)
- Process improvement/workflow engineering
- Experience working with Tableau, Alteryx, and other Microsoft applications
- Problem solving
- Adaptability
- Financial acumen
- BS/BA in Business or Marketing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in business function; healthcare and/or pharmacy knowledge preferred
- Customer service or account management experience preferred
- Detail oriented
- Strong computer skills in analytical tools and Microsoft suite
- Cardinal Health or other business systems experience preferred
