Senior Specialist, Change Management
Job Description
Change Management - IC4Leads and controls complex change management projects, changes in BNYMs services, enhancements to existing businesses, operational support enhancements. Performs project management for full, multi-phased projects. Works independently and under pressure with complex, high quantity, often contradictory information, while problem solving to adhere to strict deadlines. Leads the development financial models. Provides analytical and project leadership for assigned area. Conducts complex analyses and reporting in support of general business operations, special projects/initiatives and/or strategic/operational planning activities.
Guides and reviews work completed by more junior Change Management roles. Delivers and implements projects that involve complex, high quantity, often contradictory information. Problem solves to adhere to strict deadlines. Is fully compliant with standard project process/implementation methods but able to adapt approach and demeanor to match shifting demands and situations. Provides project management for programs or multiple workstreams within larger programs. Analyzes issues and uses well established knowledge of the business to propose solutions. Presents proposals and provides reasoning to function Management. Monitors project process, risks and issues through weekly reports. Finalizes reports for presentation to Management. Escalates issues that will significantly impact project delivery to relevant parties. Reviews and defines next steps for issues escalated. Communicates effectively and frequently with Project Initiators, Technology, Operations, Senior Management and/or the Client and ensures regular communication among these groups. May make process recommendations to Management. Mentors and guides less experienced team members to improve their Project and Change Management skills. No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced team members and helps them to develop Project and Change Management skills.
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in Project and Change Management and business analysis.
