THE ROLE:

Athletic Greens (AG) is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist, Commerce to join our team. Responsibilities include the daily operations of the direct-to-consumer ecommerce technology and subscription platforms as a part of the customer order journey. This includes our headless implementation of our ecommerce platform and other ecommerce solutions, including managing apps, payment methods, product catalog, and shipping & tracking methods. The individual will also be responsible for providing technical support for issues and bugs on the platform and within our ecosystem of apps and plugins as they pertain to customer orders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, influence, and document global ecommerce stores and digital experiences, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Manage international product catalogs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information across all platforms.
  • Support the implementation of our headless ecommerce platform and extensions, optimizing platform performance and user interactions.
  • Oversee payment methods, product catalog, and shipping methods to ensure efficient and reliable order processing.
  • Monitor and manage integrations with third-party systems such as Stripe, Shopify, Salesforce, NetSuite, Boomi, and other ecommerce technology platforms.
  • Provide technical support for platform issues, bugs, and customer orders, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Happiness team to address and resolve customer order errors and inquiries.
  • Monitor daily order flow and system integrations, ensuring accurate tracking from website to customers' doorsteps.
  • Support technology that tracks customer tracking IDs post-warehouse departure, ensuring accurate delivery and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Analyze and communicate key insights, technical issues, and recommendations for improvements to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current with ecommerce industry trends, advancements, and updates, particularly within the Shopify ecosystem.
  • Explore and evaluate new apps and features within the Shopify app store, testing and implementing those that enhance platform functionality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance internal user experience and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce administration or related roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of ecommerce operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of the ecommerce order lifecycle and its various stages.
  • Proficiency in enterprise commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including hands-on experience with APIs, extensions, themes, and customizations.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Boomi, Salesforce, and NetSuite is a plus.
  • Proven track record of providing technical support, creating documentation, and delivering training for ecommerce platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and clear documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills to manage tasks efficiently.
  • A team-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Experience with subscription engines like Upscribe, Skio, or Recharge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or FiveTran is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of email service providers like Klaviyo, Braze, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a beneficial addition.

AG is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $115,000 - $140,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate's level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
