What you’ll do

We are seeking experienced Process, Methods, Tools, and Data management Snr Specialists to join our team. The Engineering PMT & Data manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of Information technology projects and process development within our Engineering organization. This role requires a solid technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally. The ability to understand German would be an advantage.
- Develop, describe, and implement the Engineering department’s processes, standards, and tools strategy, aligning it with the company's processes, goals, and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and product management, to ensure that the engineering processes, standards, and tools meet customer needs and market requirements.
- Define and manage the technical roadmap for engineering processes, standards, and tools, identifying and addressing technical challenges and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers, to ensure collaboration and alignment on process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of industry developments and changes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, standards, and tools.
- Closely work together with IT to roll out the IT-Systems within the organization.Â
- Collect requirements from R&D and other departments that need to be implemented in the IT-System roadmap.Â
- Closely align with the Group to integrate the IT-System within the ecosystem of the Group (Define interfaces between Scout and the Group together with IT)
- Deep understanding of Dassault 3D Experience platform; ability to ideate, create, implement, and maintain PLM/CAD system structure.
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering tools and processes, from CAD systems to issue management solutions with equal dexterity.
- Bias for action; ability to own both the ideation/strategical phase of tool/process development and follow through on the implementation of such items.
- Knowledge regarding data management such as BoM and Change management.
- Management of Issue management database
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years’ experience of engineering process methods, tool development and data management.
- Deep understanding of engineering processes and tools, along with relevant technologies and industry standards.
- Proficiency in systems engineering and familiarity with A-SPICE processes.
- Experience with engineering software, data management and tools, such as Codebeamer, Jira, Cameo, 3DX CAD, CAE, PLM, and ALM.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $135,000-$155,000
Internal leveling code: IC8
