Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Product Analytics

Mastercard Checkout Services Analytics & Optimization team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the product, optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product and enhancement reporting, marketing campaign analytics and new market/partner launches monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have Tableau development experience, analytical mindset, and ability to create data reports and insights using raw data sets.

Role & Responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain Tableau dashboards
• Facilitate and complete testing activities around newly created dashboards and reports
• Create and package manual and automated monthly reports for various stakeholders via Excel and PowerPoint
• Define, design and develop complex SQL queries or extracts for dashboards
• Analyze and interpret data to understand and identify trends and anomalies
• Dive into more findings and problem solving from reporting as needed
• Handle ad hoc data pulls and analysis for various stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate business reporting requirements into technical/data fields requirements

Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

All About You
• 3-5 years related work experience, preferably in financial services
• Experience in product management, product development, and project management nice to have
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage work on several projects concurrently
• Strong analytical skills
• SQL experience is required
• Experience with web analytics tool preferred (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc...)
• Dashboard development experience with data visualization tools is required (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Cubes, etc...)
• Detail oriented focus
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team
