ServiceTitan is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Finance Analytics team. This is a highly visible role that interacts with senior leadership and focuses on one of the company’s top priorities - making data-driven finance decisions. This person in this role will create BI solutions to accurately and efficiently collect, report, and analyze finance data. Additionally, this role involves synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders, and providing analytical support to the finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with data, full-stack analytical skills, strong business acumen, and effective communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Execute analyses to find flaws in our data and then conduct the necessary work to correct those challenges

• Provide executive insights that will go to the CFO to drive our financial strategy

• Conceptualize, build, manage and maintain financial data marts

• Take the lead on the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions that help drive finance decisions 

• Establish monitoring systems and documentation to ensure data quality

• Support Finance forecast and monthly close with timely and accurate reporting on contract and billing data

• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to the executive team and business leads and influence decision-making

• Work with cross-functional teams to drive results through data insights and strategic partnerships

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience working with big data; preferably 2+ years of experience with financial data

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline or commensurate technical experience

• Proficient in SQL, Tableau and Excel

• Have a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies in data

• Ability to challenge the status quo and take ownership of assigned projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with the business, operations and technology teams

• Experience managing complex projects 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in data pipeline tools such as dbt and Apache Airflow

• Experience with Salesforce 

• Experience with process improvement and automation
