Responsibilities:

• Actively collaborate with Product management to refine the requirements with technical perspective
• Design data analytics solutions by utilizing the big data technology stack and serverless technology components on AWS
• Create the architecture blue print for Cloud hosted, multi-region, multi-tenant Analytics Platform; Influence the stakeholders to progress to implement the architecture building blocks as per the blue-print
• Create and present solution architecture documents with deep technical details
• Conduct solution architecture review/audit
• Explain the architecture/design to the stakeholders in CTO office, Data engineering, CloudOps, Security, Professional services and other functions
• Collaborate with the architects from interfacing product/systems to come up with an integrated solution approach to deliver business objectives
• Display leadership in engaging with delivery teams by educating, mentoring, guiding on design principles and best practices
• Drive the architecture pillars for Reliability, Operational Excellence, Performance, Cost Efficiency and Security. Collaborate with senior stakeholders holders to influence for strategic architecture for data management and analytics platform on AWS
• Mentor the Data Engineers in team with architectural perspective
• Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business
• Drive Proof of Concepts for the new relevant technologies either from AWS or third parties to improve the product effectiveness and achieve business objectives in the area of data management, analytics, machine learning, visualizations, data pipelines etc.
• Maintain the technical roadmap and work with stakeholders to get technical roadmap items prioritized for delivery

Requirements

• Experience range – 14 to 18 yrs.
• Strong ‘hands-on’ experience as a Big Data Architect with a solid design/development background with Scala or Python
• Experience delivering data analytics projects/platform and architecture guidelines particularly using public cloud
• Experience in big data solutions on premises and on the cloud (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Ability to design data lake, data pipelines and analytics platform
• Experience in creating/enhancing MLOps framework for churning high number Machine Learning models
• Has extensive experience with large projects (large number of stakeholders, multi locations/global footprint, complex SaaS products)
• Has excellent communication and influencing skills
• Always demonstrates leadership in his/her assignments, ability to engage a team towards ambitious goals
• Exhibits strong soft skills typically required as a Technical Lead (i.e., active listening, challenging the status quo, ability to communicate complex information, issues, and potential solutions to stakeholders)

• Experience in Machine Learning with AWS Sagemaker/DataRobot
• Understanding on GenAI & LLM models
