The role…

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of QMS & Training, this position provides the opportunity to work directly with Manufacturing, Facilities, Validation and QC staff to manage and administer Training for the site at Binney St (Cambridge, MA).

You will have the opportunity to…

• Function as the lead administrator of the Training Program for the Site (GxP and non-GxP)
• Assign training items and curricula in the Learning Management System (LMS) based on the evolving needs of the business
• Work with various Site teams to develop the training program in support of ongoing GxP activities, including development of curricula and content
• Collaborate with various Global teams to ensure the delivery of training to the appropriate Site audience
• Support the delivery of New Hire GxP and Annual GxP training courses
• Collect and manage relevant personnel files to ensure that staff are qualified to do their jobs
• Run routine reports to ensure training compliance across the site
• Provide support for implementation of upgrades or new eQMS platforms
• Maintain audit readiness of the Training Program
• Assist with Document Control and other QMS activities as needed

Who you are and what you bring to the team…

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of industry experience for a biopharma company
• Experience with Good Documentation Practices and knowledge of regulatory requirements required
• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as SAP Successfactors/MyLearning preferred
• Experience with vaccines/biologics preferred
• Able to respond to changing priorities and expectations with a composed demeanor and foster effective cross-functional relationships
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills for interfacing with internal and external organizations
• Strong collaboration and team skills
• Able to think through the process and accurately apply and adapt regulatory standards
• Helpful to understand the QA function in a start-up entity and ability to make decisions on a go/no go criteria
• Able to work effectively within a variety of situations and adapt enthusiastically to changes in job demands
• Pursue tasks with energy, drive, and initiative; even in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in a results-driven, highly accountable environment where you can make an impact
• Builds productive working relationships across key groups at Affinivax
