Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior SRE Developer with experience developing and working with Dynatrace. You will work side by side with product managers designers and clients making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Saint Louis – MO or Remote on USA.

Responsibilities

· Lead the implementation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system reliability and performance.

· Oversee the use of Dynatrace for monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics.

· Provide expertise in Performance Validation to ensure systems meet required performance standards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

· Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively address system issues.

· Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions.

· Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems through continuous improvement practices.

· Implement best practices for incident management and response to minimize downtime.

· Create and maintain documentation for system performance and reliability processes.

· Mentor junior engineers in SRE practices and performance validation techniques.

· Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

· Work closely with stakeholders to understand performance requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

· Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

· Possess strong expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

· Have extensive experience with Dynatrace for performance monitoring and analysis.

· Demonstrate proficiency in Performance Validation techniques and tools.

· Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.

· Show experience in developing automated monitoring and alerting solutions.

· Have excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

· Display a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system performance issues.

· Experience in the Payer domain is a plus.

· Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68422 to 114000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
