Senior Staff Accountant

DUTIES: Responsible for performing the day-to-day processing and maintaining of the accounts payable and general accounting including month-end close. Specific responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable. 
• Bank account reconciliation.
• Perform various accounting duties throughout the month, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, reports.
• Interaction with business owners and department leaders to ensure proper accounting for all expenses.  
• Monthly analysis of operation expenses.
• Assist with annual audit and other ad-hoc projects. 
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
• Provide support to finance management and internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc projects.
• Other ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.  CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of AP and general accounting experience.
• Proficient knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong practical knowledge in Microsoft Excel.   
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable prioritizing multiple work streams across daily responsibilities and long-term projects.
• Must be team oriented; enjoys working with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com a plus

Expected Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
