Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant

As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance team. Our company has recently implemented a state-of-the-art ERP system, setting the stage for further growth and efficiency. Position Overview: As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be a key player in our finance team, reporting to the Corporate Controller and having regular access to the CFO and President. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical accounting expertise and a forward-thinking approach to leveraging technology to drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Financial Recordkeeping:

· Execute day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

· Execute Semi-monthly payroll and administer benefits.

· Ensure accurate customer billing cadences and recognize revenue accordingly.

· Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the ERP system.

Month-End Close:

· Assist in the month-end closing process, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for accurate financial reporting.

Technology Integration:

· Leverage the capabilities of our ERP system to streamline and automate financial processes.

· Explore opportunities to enhance efficiency through innovative uses of technology.

Reporting and Analysis:

· Prepare financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.

· Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights into financial trends.

Compliance and Auditing:

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

· Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Corporate Controller and involves regular interactions with the CFO and President.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to present financial information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify and solve complex problems.
• Proactive in seeking opportunities for process improvement.
