Overview

Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports. Assists with monthly bookkeeping activities.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Assists with the monthly processing and payment of bills.
• Assists with the reconciliation of intercompany payables and receivables.
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Conducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization's accounting operation.
• Collects appropriate data and submits information to be used in the preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
• Assists with project cost tracking and percent complete analysis.
• Assists with project cost funding requests.
• Assists with loan tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 1-3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience working with Quickbooks Accounting Software.
• Must have experience working with Excel at an advanced level.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Compensation: $72,000 - $75,000 per year
