Job Duties:
- Support the Controller and Accounting Manager in preparing journal entries and completion of monthly financial reporting package.
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including Cash, AR/AP, Intercompany, and ST/LT Liability accounts
- Assist Controller in budget-to-actuals and forecast-to-actuals variance analysis.
- Manage the weekly management reporting process and KPI updates, including daily WIP report submissions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable processing, including tracking, reconciliation, and cash application upon cash receipts.
- Support monthly department PL analysis providing feedback to department heads on cost-controls and margin analysis.
- Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures to standardize finance processes.
- Assist with investigations into root-cause analysis and resolution of system operation failures.
- Collaborate on Continuous Improvement goals for Finance department, including Standard Operating Procedures, financial metrics and analysis
- Provide support for financial audits and SOX compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited school. CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with GAAP/IFRS.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and experience working with cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
