Senior Staff Accountant in ManufacturinginPlano, TX Salary: $80-95K Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Summary: This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of sales tax laws, general accounting principles accounting, and interface with all internal departments, internal and external auditors Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Reconcile Bank and General Balance accounts • Review Balance sheet and Profit and Lost statements are accurate and complete. • Prepare and key manual JEs at month end • Prepare Sales Taxes to the various states; Get current Tax-exempt certificates. • Communicate to the Sales tax government offices to assure we are in compliance. • Prepare audit information in accordance with Sales tax audit timelines. • Generate Field Service invoices in a timely manner. • Key and process Travel Expenses • Assist Controller with other duties and tasks. • Must be excellent in Advanced Excel. Job Requirements and Qualifications: • Experience with freeze panes and VLOOKUP • Experience and strong experience withsales tax laws, general accounting principles accounting • Strong Excel experience • Experience with sales tax with multiple states.
