We are seeking a highly skilled Staff DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at FLYR. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure along with continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD).
What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure as code (IaC), including GCP and AWS environments
- Automate deployment and scaling processes using tools such as Terraform Cloud, CircleCI, and ArgoCD
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best-in-class continuous integration & continuous delivery processes
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and scalability in a Kubernetes environment
- Implement security best practices to ensure the protection of sensitive data
- Guide and mentor your team members to help level them up and align with current best practices
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation for your team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve infrastructure
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically GCP
- Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform, CircleCI, and ArgoCD
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Strong experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Serverless cloud resources
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code best practices using Terraform
- Experience with building mono-repo applications through CI/CDKnowledge of security best practices

Compensation: The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience and is as follows:
$169,000—$237,000 USD
