WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Commerce Team is responsible for the UX and design of digital product features and capabilities that deliver the best possible brand experience across Nike's full funnel commerce experience. - defining how users discover, navigate, search, customize, find the right fit, and buy products. As a key member of this team, you'll report into the Sr. Design Director of Commerce Design.

WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

- Designing incredibly polished work that represents the Nike brand and product experience through visual comps, wireframes, flows and prototypes

- Owning larger projects that require multiple levels of coordination or working at the forefront of a new digital product design initiative

- Shaping design ecosystems and creating traction around a design direction

- Overseeing the quality and design output for your projects/initiatives across orgs, and heavily influencing the overall quality

- Providing thought leadership for highly visible, cross-functional teams, leading projects or initiatives for your product area, across multiple areas, and Digital Product Design

- Driving agendas between cross-functional partners to prioritize high-value opportunities, mitigate constraints, and playing a critical role on project prioritization, providing contributors with direction

- Inspiring new ways of thinking and exploring the unknown using fresh and unique approaches to design problems

- Guiding your teams to solve the toughest problems of a product or feature while mentoring and developing senior talent

- Influencing team culture by always being inclusive, welcoming and candid-identifying, leading and delivering initiatives that improve the culture across the org

- Improving the caliber and efficiency of the Digital Product Design org through identifying, owning and successfully driving substantial and challenging org-wide initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

- A bachelor's degree in design, UX/UI design, human-computer interaction or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 10+ years of relevant experience with end-to-end digital product design with proven experience in visual and UX

- Expert knowledge level in data science, experimentation, product, brand, business and strategy

- Ability to simplify the complex by delivering high-quality, end-to-end design solutions that are intuitive and easy to use

- Demonstrated user-centric design approach and insights-based design process

- Strong collaborator with product managers, engineers, writers, researchers and marketers

- Expert in time management - simultaneously delivering on time and guiding the team to build more efficient processes during emergencies

- Experience working with consumer research and data

- Experienced at using metrics and data to help define success

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Expert in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Principle and Keynote

- Cross-platform design experiences (web, Android, iOS, emails)

- Ability to craft crisp, concise and informative narratives that are influential to a wide variety of people

- Ability to drive new design patterns or standards that helps unblock multiple teams

- Ability to define a holistic look and feel between all pieces of a large project

- Experience launching software at scale in a fast-paced product organization

- Passion for the Nike brand, sport and for creating high-quality work

- A fascination with innovation and technology and a solid understanding of digital tools and trends

* Candidates must submit an online portfolio (ALONG WITH PASSWORDS) with samples of their design work to be considered for the position.

*Remote Work Option - Open to remote work except cannot work in the following locations: SD,VT, and WV. These candidates will be required to relocate.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $147,500.00 to $321,000.00. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
