Job Description

Role Summary

Responsibilities: · Lead a team of software engineers in the creation of high-quality software within agreed project deadlines. · Act as a mentor for new or lower-level software engineers or developers. · Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team. · Train and integrate new team members and proactively support the continued development of existing team members. · Work closely with the DevSecOps team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Amazon CDK. · Design and develop applications as per the business requirements, using Java with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Function, and various database technologies like Postgres, Oracle DB, Document DBs, NoSQL DBs. · Write comprehensive unit and integration tests. · Fix vulnerabilities in the code and improve application security. · Work with AWS Services like Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS, ECR, Glue, Step Function, etc. · Create basic UI using Angular or React. Qualifications: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. · 10-13 years proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer. · Extensive experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Function. · Experience with various database technologies like Postgres, Oracle DB, Document DBs, NoSQL DBs. · Experience with AWS Services like Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS, ECR, Glue, Step Function, etc. · Experience in building infrastructure as code using Amazon CDK. · Familiarity with Angular or React for UI development. · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: · AWS Certifications. · Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. · Knowledge of industry security standards and best practices.
