Job Description

• Design, build and test solutions using A10 Networks' products in cloud environments
• Execute and automate test cases
• Participate in engineering design and test plan reviews
• Design solutions tests for scalability, redundancy, responsiveness, and recovery
• Document test results, use cases, solution architecture, topology diagrams, configuration guidelines

• Share your knowledge and mentor others
• Diagnose and resolve difficult issues
• Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Technical Support, and Publications.

Requirements

• Strong software systems and solutions test experience
• Comprehend software and solution design specifications
• Expert network, security, Linux system administration, and troubleshooting skills
• Expertise testing solutions a public IaaS such as AWS, Azure, or OCI

• Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with hypervisors KVM, ESXi, and HyperV
• Experience with ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Experience integrating software products from multiple vendors including open source
• Understand REST API for data interchange

• Experience implementing tools for monitoring service health, alerting, metrics, billing, license and subscription management
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elastic Search, or similar technologies
• Familiar with SSO, OAUTH2, OpenID, or SAML and RBAC concepts
• Understand user experience, usability, and ease of use
• Understand backward compatibility

• Preferred experience with test automation

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Desire to produce high quality software and provide best experience for customers
• Ensures quality results are produced at a quick pace
• Flexible to pivot quickly when needed
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices to improve their skills

Education

• BSCS or CE with 10+ years of software development experience
• MSCS or CE with 8+ years of software development experience
