Design and development of next-generation security technologies for Service Providers that cater to Mobile, Fixed/Wireline access using a combination of On-Prem, hybrid and Cloud-native solutions. Work on cutting edge solutions in the field of DDOS protection and Advanced Security Functions. These are solutions are implemented and supported in a distributed compute environment and supported on Physical, Virtual and Containerized workloads.

The solutions involve implementing features related to Firewalls, 3GPP related Security solutions (5G Control Plane, GTP & SCTP Firewalls), Application Identification and Security, Deep Packet Inspection, Carrier Grade NAT (NAT44, NAT64 etc.) among others.

This is a very technical and highly demanding hands-on position, and the ideal candidate should have some exposure in at least some of the above areas and be willing to extend their knowledge.

Responsibilities:

When working in this group, you will be exposed to one or more of the following functional areas and will be responsible for defining the Architecture, Design and implement solutions in these areas.

• DDoS - advance detection and mitigation solutions for Service Providers
• Next generation Firewall related features
• 3GPP Security solutions - GTP, SCTP, Diameter Protocol related Security features
• Familiarity with Network Address Translation
• Understanding various application protocols and address security implications for SIP, FTP, DNS, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong C, Python programming skills
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and related networking concepts.
• Knowledge of computer system architectures & operating system concepts along with understanding of multi-core, multi-threaded programming, distributed system.
• Familiarity with and understanding of security features for application protocols such as FTP, DNS, etc. is a plus.
