Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in the software development for Multi-threaded, Multi-processed, high throughput, low latency project for different platforms ranging from cloud, virtual and HW based.
• You will focus on system architecture to achieve high performance platform with fail-safe built in.
• You will be an integral part of a team bringing up appliances ranging from containers to multi-blade chassis
• You will partake in the design of the next generation platform with Hardware designers.

Requirements:

• 10+ year of experience with MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• In-depth understanding of Operating System principles and OS like Linux/Unix
• Experience in kernel libraries, and device drivers
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts including performance parameters of TCP/IP stack
• Experience in Network Data Path & Socket programming & POSIX Multi-thread programming
• Experience in virtualization, Hypervisor technologies e.g. KVM, Hyper-V, ESXI
• In-depth understanding of Cloud computing internals (AWS, Azure, OCI)
• In-depth understanding of the end-to-end boot process in the cloud from VM creation, kernel, drivers, cloud-based, systems, provisioning, and monitoring agents
• Experience using Linux performance (CPU, disk, memory, etc), debugging, and troubleshooting commands
• Experience troubleshooting boot and network and services (ssh) via serial console and local and remote logging services
• Strong C programming, Data structures/Algorithms & low level debugging skills
• Excellent Problem Solving skills
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), containers, and docker a plus
