ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command's MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. This position, located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Duties include:• Support Systems Engineering & Integration activities for satellite communications (SATCOM) programs at the Space Systems Command (SSC), El Segundo, CA• Provide Lifecycle Logistics subject matter expertise in the front-end of the system acquisition lifecycle; design, development, production, fielding• Assist in development of system Acquisition Strategy and Solicitation documentation to include Market Research, Acquisition Strategy Panel Briefing and Review Board decisions, Product Support Strategy, Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, and other related documents• Provide logistics planning, integration, analysis, assessment, requirements verification, technical writing, and documentation development/review for SATCOM programs during the acquisition lifecycle• Assess acquisition programs against the Integrated Product Support Elements• Evaluate system design and testing of reliability, availability, and maintainability-cost metrics to achieve user requirements in mission capability and monitor system development performance• Develop, assess, evaluate, and coordinate logistics planning documents to implement a logistics life cycle integrated product support strategy such as Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) products, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Depot Source of Repair (DSOR), Depot Maintenance Activation Plan (DMAP), Logistics Health Assessment (LHA), policy/instructions, hardware/software licenses and warranties, sustainment concepts, technical orders (TO) verification, training plans, contractor Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and sparing, system support plans, support agreements, Supply Chain Risk Management Plan, System Transition Plan• Regularly participate in and facilitate integration and logistics forums for existing and emerging SATCOM programs such as logistics working groups, Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT), Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups (DMAWG), Provisioning Conferences, and report progress status/issues/risk/potential impacts and resolution options to senior leadership review• Support transition to operations and sustainment activities, and assess operations and maintenance readiness for Depot activation, Operational Acceptance (OA) decisions, and Initial Operational Capability (IOC) declaration• Travel: approximately 5%
Qualifications Desired
• MS or course work in military acquisition logistics• 10+ years' experience in DoD SATCOM acquisition logistics, system life cycle management, sustainment, and transition• RFP documentation development• Depot activation• Supply chain management• Technical Orders• Professional certifications such as INCOSE• DAWIA Certifications, such as Program Management Level 1, Life Cycle Logistics Level II• MILSATCOM space operations• Logistics and supply chain management• System transition to operations• System Program Office• Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings• Working DoD ACAT-1 space acquisition programs• Experience in satellite communications systems• Top Secret clearance

Qualifications Required (Skills)
• BA or BS degree in any field• 10+ years of related experience to include 7+ years' experience in DoD acquisition logistics, system life cycle management, sustainment, and transition• Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000 series) - proficient• Integrated Life Cycle Management (AFI 63-101/20-101) - proficient• Project planning - proficient• 12 Integrated Product Support Elements - proficient• Requirements management - proficient• Writing Acquisition Logistics documentation - proficient• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - proficient• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills• Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders• Program Office and/or HQ Space Operations Command (previous HQ AFSPC) process knowledge• Working autonomously with gov't customer, leading teams and projects, establishing/executing milestone and critical path schedules• Understanding of DoD and joint service acquisition instructions and policy• US Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required for the position
