What you're applying for
We're looking for an experienced finance professional to help drive automation, transparency, and greater efficiency within the company's financial ecosystem.
In this role you'll act as a key contributor to the month-end close process, ensuring all workpapers are completed accurately and timely. You'll also play a major role in daily financial operations to help us scale, gaining unique exposure to all aspects of financial reporting within this highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Manage general ledger and assist in the month/year end close process
• Calculate and submit premium tax filings
• Review supplier invoices
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Own fixed assets, prepaid and accrual balances
• Support quarterly and annual external audit requirements

Requirements

• B.A. in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years experience corporate finance (background at a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus)
• Workday ERP system experience preferred
• Advanced Excel and data-manipulation skills
• Well-versed in month-end closing processes and accounting standards
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP/IFRS and financial statements
• P&C insurance experience is a significant advantage
• Ability to work in an office environment
