Senior Strategic HR Business Partner, Global Ops (S+N Office or Remote)

As the Sr. Strategic HRBP, Global Operations, you will collaborate with senior leadership aligning the HR strategy with strategic objectives and goals Global Operations. This global role will support two critical areas of Smith + Nephew Global Operations: Sports Medicine and ENT Operations, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. In this role, you guide and partner with senior management on HR initiatives, talent management, organizational effectiveness/design, and compensation/rewards.

What will you be doing?

  • Participates and contributes in leadership, financial and business planning meetings to advise on talent strategy for the business area
  • Partners with business leaders to attract, develop and retain top talent in the organization to support business strategy. Facilitate analysis, forecasting, and planning of workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps, and determining target talent management interventions to ensure that an organization has the right people - with the right skills in the right places at the right time - to fulfil its strategic objectives
  • Partner with Total Rewards to obtain the necessary data and insights to develop and deliver a rewards and recognition strategy aligned with business needs and HR strategy; bring insight from data analyses to support the business in making rewards decisions
  • Analyze employee survey data to identify opportunities and approaches to enhance employee perceptions of the workplace and leadership capability.
  • Provides stewardship of the organisation's culture and cultural pillars to facilitate success. Coaches leaders on the link between behaviours and culture. Weaves cultural standards into HR practices, processes and ways of working. Communicates the culture broadly and frames it in ways that engages employees.

Location: Andover, MA, Fort Worth, TX, Memphis, TN or Remote US

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's equivalent preferred
  • Licenses/ Certifications: HR certification for senior professional preferred (i.e. SPHR or CIPD)
  • 10+ years experience in increasing spans of leadership in Human Resources to include global organization design and workforce planning, organization effectiveness, employment, compensation, employee relations, talent development, and culture and engagement is required.
  • Regional HR business partnering experience is required, global experience highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting operations functions, particularly manufacturing operations, or related technical functions. Experience driving organizational transformation is a plus.
