Senior Strategic Partnership Manager - Global

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Global Strategic Partnership Manager, you will work with the VP of Global Sales Partnerships & Channels to drive strategic and operational growth through technology and consulting partnerships for Workhuman. You will be responsible for creating and leading partner programs, develop a channel business, drive industry-specific marketing campaigns, and create lead-generation strategies through partners. You will also manage partnership meetings to drive influence in the HCM industry and connect them to Workhuman's solutions to uncover opportunities for the sales teams. You will play a lead role in partnering with our Sales Teams, Field Marketing, Workhuman Experience, Customer Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure the development and ongoing successes.
This position reports to the Vice President, Global Sales Partnerships & Channels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead specific global technology and consulting partners.
- Grow and develop partner strategy and relationships to drive sales opportunities.
- Develop strategies to create new sales opportunities through partners and channels.
- Continuously seek ways to increase partnership adoption, breadth of contacts, and trust amongst the relationships.
- Develop distinct partner sales campaign in collaboration with partners to create mutual sales opportunities and relationships.
- Ensure partner and sales strategy are aligned.
- Work closely with sales executives on account planning and partner mapping.
- Be the liaison between the partner and sales executives to ensure clear communication and sales process.
- Innovate messaging to grow and influence prospective partners.
- Utilize Salesforce to track partnership efforts and sales process stages.
- Provide recommendations to partners and channels on solutions using the Workhuman Cloud suite of offerings and services.
- Conduct annual and quarterly business reviews with partner to ensure mutual growth.
- Communicate with internal teams, assessing overall partnership experience and company objectives.
- Develop and provide reporting of key success metrics.
- Maintain solid knowledge of the HR industry and landscape.
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS software, hyper-growth technology industry environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in a partnerships/alliances related role.
- Knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) software sales highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to be agile in how work gets done and adapt to shifting objectives.
- Strong business acumen. Very positive, polished, professional attitude and outlook.
- Incredible collaborative thinking and behavior; taking accountability for project ownership and responsibility.
- Strong organizational and highly proficient project management skills, with a great sense of urgency and thought.
- Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to convey messaging in a clear and influential manner, tailoring communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills critical with Salesforce.com experience desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and thoughtfully.
- Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity to learn about internal and external HR industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
