Senior Strategic Threat Intelligence Analyst

This Role: The Subscriptions and Periodicals team is looking for an analyst to support evaluating, preparing, and presenting unified threat intelligence to support internal executive outreach. This will involve bringing together intelligence across Insikt Group’s teams and formulating a compiled narrative into talking points, reports, and briefings. You should be familiar with cybersecurity and general geopolitical issues, work well across teams, manage multiple projects, and bring together different lines of analysis into a unified analytic bottomline. You'll mainly work to create briefings and documentation for others, but you'll also need to present your findings to internal Recorded Future executives.

What you'll do as a Senior Strategic Threat Intelligence Analyst: 

• Produce and review talking points, reports, and briefings for executive audiences regarding current events and strategic intelligence
• Bring together a holistic representation of threat from all Insikt teams
• Work under sometimes tight deadlines to support ad hoc requests from internal executives
• Evaluate and incorporate research from Recorded Future’s Insikt Group into executive-level content
• Maintain awareness of trends affecting Recorded Future offerings, including cyberattacks, vulnerabilities, malware, third-party risk, geopolitics, identity, and fraud
• Collaborate with executives at Recorded Future who will deliver briefings in the form of slide decks, finished intelligence reports, and other contextual documentation

What you'll bring to the Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst role:

• 5+ years experience as a threat intelligence analyst or in similar position
• Demonstrably strong writing and briefing ability, to be assessed via a writing sample and presentation
• Demonstrable experience researching and analyzing cyber, geopolitical, and physical threats 
• Practical experience using common threat intelligence analysis models 
• Ability to convey complex technical and non-technical concepts in verbal products
• Excellent writing and communication skills are mandatory

Additional skills/experience (preferred but not required):

• Demonstrable experience of conducting cyber threat investigations 
• Practical experience working with CISOs or other executives invested in cybersecurity programs
