That brings us to you.   

As Senior Strategist, you will serve as a key team member Jack Chicago’s portfolio of business, inclusive of QSR, CPG, Multi-cultural and Healthcare clients, partnering with Global Account Directors and Global Creative Directors along with other principal leads to develop holistic brand experiences based on extensive research, experience, and industry and client knowledge.  You will be comfortable operating amongst ambiguity to identify paths forward as well as be able to adapt your strategy skills to deliver on a breadth of project needs and outcomes ranging from briefs to experience playbooks and from marketing plans to proposal decks for clients.     

This position would develop new ways in through thoughtful insights and identifying themes that connect the audience, the brand and the experience together ultimately driving better creative work that is rooted in strategic thinking. You should be a curious and culturally savvy individual. This position may also act as an “Ideas Lead” - expected to push the envelope to inspire the development of new and big ideas, that build upon the client’s business strategy, brand goals or event/conference objectives and provide guidance to creative directors, and producers at certain stages of the process. On some team projects you may be required to manage junior level strategists brought in to support the work.   

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Be a thought-leader who can distill down data and repackage it in an exciting and inspiring way to push creative ideas further that tie back to business objectives and brand goals 
  • Monitor and understand key trends and leading practices in Live Consumer Experiences, Virtual Events and B2B Conference engagement, and combine your own expertise to innovate, adapt, and push new ideas and territories for the client.
  • Develop marketing, content and/or comms strategy plans to ensure the right messages are received the right way  
  • Facilitate client workshops and meetings with senior level clients 
  • Lead the development of creative briefs, articulating key insights and a clear point of view
  • Build and nourish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration
  • Help build and manage plans, systems, resources, and communications to accomplish project goals 

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if…   

  • Bachelor's degree across various liberal arts and business disciplines; Master's degree preferred 
  • Experience with business, brand, and experience/environmental strategy, as well as with strategy and delivery of global c-level B2B and B2C brand experiences in the technology vertical
  • Boardroom-ready presentation presence and skills
  • At least 7 years strategic experience developing insights, identifying cultural trends, and inspiring big ideas that travel across channels
  • Ability to collect, read, analyze, interpret & synthesis information from a variety of sources and develop strategic insights and points of view
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $75,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on relevant factors including experience, internal equity and market considerations. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
