Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will serve as a structural engineering technical consultant for the Design and Engineering team of a prominent DoD customer.

Responsibilities:

• May function as Structural Project Engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
• May plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major project requiring a large-scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.
• May lead other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
• Ensure compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations
• Prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witnesses shop tests, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
• Conduct surveys, studies, and site investigations.
• Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
• Help determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
• May assist with other administrative and technical duties.
• Recommend and prepares technical papers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BSCE or related Structural Engineering program and 10+ years in the Structural Engineering field
• Maryland PE registration required
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Suite of word processing and integrated software applications
• US Citizen
• Active TS/SCI and polygraph

Salary Range:

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
