Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role you will serve as a structural engineering technical consultant for the Design and Engineering team of a prominent DoD customer.
Responsibilities:
- May function as Structural Project Engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
- May plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major project requiring a large-scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.
- May lead other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
- Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
- Ensure compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations
- Prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witnesses shop tests, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
- Conduct surveys, studies, and site investigations.
- Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
- Help determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
- May assist with other administrative and technical duties.
- Recommend and prepares technical papers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- BSCE or related Structural Engineering program and 10+ years in the Structural Engineering field
- Maryland PE registration required
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Suite of word processing and integrated software applications
- US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI and polygraph

Salary Range:
$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
