Senior Subrogation Rep - Hybrid/Remote

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Evaluates legal liability and aggressively pursues, negotiates, and resolves subrogation collection.
• Secures additional information/investigation from referring office when an on-site investigation is necessary.
• Communicates with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, and underwriters to obtain/provide the necessary information.
• Maintains and controls assigned subrogation files and diaries.
• Assigns lawsuits to counsel and oversees case handling:
  • Monitors application of Litigation Management Program.
  • May attend pre-trials, trials, and settlement conferences.
• May process loss and expense payments. May assign claim numbers and/or initiate manual payments.
• Maintains current knowledge of field, third party law, regulations, procedures, and case decisions affecting appropriate jurisdictions.
• May provide technical advice, guidance, and assistance to lower level associates and other functional areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Prefer Workers Comp Lien experience in addition to APD BI

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline

Experience: Generally, 3 to 6 years of related experience, including Subrogation litigation and recovery practices/procedures experience.
