We are seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Specialist to join our dynamic Corporate Supplier Industrialization team. This role is crucial in driving the successful industrialization of innovative products across our supplier network. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, quality management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
You Will:
- Lead supplier quality and engineering initiatives from design through production
- Implement and manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Conduct design reviews and ensure Design for Manufacturability/Assembly (DFM/A) principles are applied
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier processes and quality
- Perform supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery
- Analyze data to assess supplier capabilities and drive performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO9001,Β IATF16949)
- Manage and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Management activities
- Support system assembly builds and define incoming parts inspection procedures
You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master's preferred
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, or related roles
- Expertise in quality management tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, GD&T)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards across various commodities (e.g., chassis, ADAS, electrical distribution systems)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25-75%)
- Certifications in quality management or Six Sigma a plus
- Experience with automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries preferred
