The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for owning, developing and analyzing Supply Chain data used to drive service performance, make key business decisions, and drive efficiency in our supply chain network throughout the entire organization. The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will have direct responsibility for completing complex analyses, lead strategic projects and identify/implement process improvement initiatives which will include combinations of elements, such as, demand & supply planning, distribution, inventory management, customer service, operations and logistics.
The associate will be the Supply Chain data expert and resource to coach and assist other associates/departments to drive strategic business decision through data readiness and Analytics. Responsible for empowering associates with the right data, tools and capabilities so they can take decisive action, maximize value and making a meaningful impact on our consumers, our customers and our business.
What are we looking for?
1. Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; preferably in management, supply chain, business, or relevant field.
2. Knowledge/Experience
- 5+ years of analytics and supply chain experience
- Demonstrated Analytical skills - Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
- Must be self-motivated and highly adaptable to change
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems
- Experience with managing change resulting from process improvements
- Experience in leading and implementing new programs and initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English - Ability to effectively present to leadership

What will be your key responsibilities?
- Create and own centralized reporting platforms, tools and Analytics that best fits the business needs
- Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners
- Advocate and educate on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the "how and why" of solving problems
- Constantly identifying and driving for ways to advance data readiness to drive quantifiable business decisions through implementation
- Lead and support operational excellence, and continuous process improvement across Customer service, Network planning and Transportation teams to drive value at the organizational level
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to create systems, processes, and tools to enhance their organizations productivity and execution
- Performs leadership role in driving proactive change and improvements through Lean initiatives and reducing costs
- Drive customer collaboration (internal and external) and insights through the use of analytics that will identify opportunities to improve customer-vendor supply chain efficiencies
- Lead and/or participate on assigned customer and project teams to achieve common goals, while building integrated collaborative relationships with other team members
- Identify, lead, analyze, provide insight, and execute on our strategic supply chain initiatives, while working collaboratively and cross functionally to complete critical projects on time, on quality and within budget
- Design and implement systems and processes that will help drive agility, efficiency and sustainability across the End to End value chain process
- Develop and identify operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information from business users and key stakeholders; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Continuously seeks and executes cost saving and process improvement opportunities across Supply Chain
- Coordinate with Logistics Services Manager and other functional areas to support and identify areas of opportunity to decrease costs in the Supply Chain Network
- Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements
- Serve as a supply chain data subject matter expert for business teams across Royal Canin
