Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Vicarious Surgical is hiring a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Waltham, MA. We are seeking a hands-on individual to help build and scale our demand planning, ERP and reporting capabilities.

Vicarious Surgical is a next generation robotics company developing a disruptive technology with the goal of increasing the efficiency of surgical procedure, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the direct and indirect purchasing of materials to include PO placement, ERP data management and reconciliation with accounts payable
• Understand supply risk, sourcing dependency, cost and capacity for key suppliers
• Identify creative sourcing strategies to achieve business requirements
• Keep informed of global supply chain volatility to ensure a robust and continuous supply of required materials
•  Support cost reduction efforts by working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders
• Assist in the preparation of RFPs/RFQs as required

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field of study
• 5+ years previous experience in a procurement or logistics function, preferably in a regulated medical device environment
•  Strong communication, continuous improvement, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Previous EFP/MRP experience, preferably NetSuite is helpful, but not required
