Senior Supply Planner

Daily Harvest is looking for a Senior Supply Planner to lead all aspects of finished good inventory planning and production scheduling. This position will (1) create short and long-term production plans (2) own the day-to-day deployment of finished good inventory through the fulfillment network(3) assess and implement changes to our current planning toolset, in order to drive more efficient and transparent planning (4) lead and improve production network capacity planning.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing supply and demand, reducing excess stock, and minimizing out of stocks
• Develop and communicate 12 week rolling production plans to the contract manufacturing network consisting of firm and forecasted production requirements
• Manage the long term, 52 week production plan and issue monthly forecasts to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong partnership with co-manufacturers to mitigate production disruptions through effective communication and ownership of weekly production meetings
• Deployment and allocation of finished good inventory to all fulfillment centers in the Daily Harvest network, taking into account inventory balance at each location, storage capacity, and order volume
• Issue and update firm production PO’s in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy of data and invoicing
• Develop and implement processes to manage and effectively communicate finished good obsolescence risk
• Implement tools to effectively track, monitor, and communicate network production capacity
• Continued development and improvement of supply planning tools
• Thought leadership on inventory strategies based on sales performance, MOQ’s, shelf life and cost
• Create ad hoc reporting as needed to support business decisions and monthly cadence of business performance meetings

• 3+ years of supply planning or production planning experience
• Proven experience building out a finished good inventory/production plans, managing network production capacity, and inventory allocation 
• Strong analytical skills, and the ability to present meaningful data in routine reports
• Must be able to function independently & travel as necessary
• Ability to distill large volumes of disparate information into meaningful conclusions
• Outstanding leadership, management, supervision, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Commercialization, Innovation, and Data teams  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in computer applications and systems including Looker, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
• APICS CPIM Certification a plus

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
