Job Description

The Senior Support Manager is responsible for working with key stakeholders and overseeing multiple cross functional teams including but not limited to Customer Service, Provider Management, Claims Repricing, Appeals to achieve organizational goals. In this role, the Senior Support Manager will need use critical thinking and analytical skills to make knowledge-based decisions related to the provider/client abrasion, workflow processes and conflict resolution in a fast-paced production environment. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ensure timely and accurate communication of information, in written and electronic forms, that are directed to internal company contacts, clients and providers.• Responsible for the oversight of multiple cross functional support teams.• Work directly with managers and supervisor to implement performance metrics and evaluation systems to assess individual and team performance. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve department goals.• Responsible for managing and maintaining all KPIs and adherence to SLAs, identifying and resolving problems, preparing and completing action plans, and driving process improvement.• Responsible for tracking and reporting of departmental metrics to Director on a monthly basis or as required.• Build, lead, and manage remote and/or onsite teams made up of managers, supervisors and staff, through hiring, onboarding, ongoing career development, nurturing a strong team culture, and ensuring high employee satisfaction.• Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal departments and external clients to maintain excellent lines of communication and share resources to meet business objectives.• Professional communication with clients, account management and other departments.• Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality.• May be required to travel overnight and attend meetings.• May perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs and expenses.• Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:• MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience, which extends beyond just their basic functionality. (i.e. - pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced formulas)• Proven strong leadership skills as a performer/leader• Knowledge of Medicare (CMS) and Medicaid regulations, regulatory compliance, Managed Care, and medical claims processing guidelines.• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team• The ability to work in a fast paced/production based environment• Effective communication with others

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:• Business or management degree and/or experience within the healthcare/clinical field required preferred• Strong understanding and experience of workforce management in a vendor or payer environment• Demonstrated experience in developing / supporting execution of project plans• Minimum 5 years of management experience• Preferred leadership of 25 employees or more

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $51,520 - $77,102
